Island Beach State Park is the only New Jersey state park that allows riding on the beach. Riding is allowed on the northern six miles of the ocean beach from October through April, But the park may not supply horses for riding. To ride your horse in the park, You need to register five days in advance of your ride and make a reservation to enter the park with your horses and trailers.
