The basis of this paper draws on current work arising from the Thematic Network for Teacher Education in Europe (TNTEE). particularly since 1996, Sub network E of TNTEE has focused research and development on the role of Didaktik and Fachdidaktik( en) ("focus related didactics") in addition to the Bereichsdidaktik( durante) (Didactics of assorted learning areas) And their potential to contribute to the improvement of the quality of teaching/studying/learning processes both in schools and also in teacher education.
